In the latest Base to Base biotech podcast, Dicot Pharma’s CEO, Elin Trampe tells Jim Cornall how the company is developing LIB‑01, positioned as the first major innovation in erectile dysfunction treatment in 30 years. Unlike Viagra or Cialis, LIB‑01 uses a completely different mechanism of action, enabling treatment for a broader population of men, including those who cannot take PDE5 inhibitors.

Trampe confirms that Dicot has recently received regulatory clearance to begin Phase IIb trials in the US, with EU trials also about to start. The treatment is designed as a three‑dose regimen that provides spontaneous erectile function for up to eight weeks, removing the need for planning around sexual activity and aiming to improve intimacy and quality of life for couples.
